Changing Volume in a cue

Post by HowardB » Wed Apr 13, 2016 6:28 am

I am fairly new to using SCS, we have SCS 11.4.1.1 . We have a track which is 9 minutes long and the director is asking if it is possible to vary the volume for part of the time - can anyone advise how to do this

Use a 'Level Change' cue fired either from a hot key or as a manual cue to change volume,
then another 'Level Change' cue fired either from a hot key or as a manual cue to restore to original level

Thanks , is there a way to auto program it so that say the first 30 seconds is at 100% volume then it fades over 10 second to 50% and then after a couple of minutes it fades back up ?

The level changes can be accomplished by 'Level Change' sub-cues, which are part of the main cue and have relative start times set to the profile you want.

Alternatively this can be achieved simply and automatically by adjusting the Level Envelope, which enables you to set various volume (and pan) levels graphically throughout the cue. Check out the Help file. However, I believe you may need a Professional license for this feature.
