Slideshow limitations

Post by lttton » Tue Nov 17, 2015 7:26 pm

Hi there,

is there any limitation regarding the number of files or overall filesize for a slideshowcue.
I have a bunch of 395 photos to slide and scs crashes every time i try to load the files (JPG, 960x540, 24Bit, all between 15kB and 40kB).

regards
Uwe

What's the error message you get? Also, if possible can you email me a diagnostic file, preferably compressed? You can create this file by selecting 'Create Diagnostic File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Diagnostics" under "Documents" or "My Documents".

Hello Mike,

here is a link to the screenshots i made. The last one shows the error message.
unfortunally its not possible to create a diagnostic file, because scs seems not to be active after that.

meanwhile i created a moviefile with all the photos. but i know, i get in trouble if only one simple photo have to change...

Best regards,
Uwe

Thanks for the info and files, Uwe. The error occurs on loading the thumbnail images. I should have a fix available for this shortly.
