Hello Mike,
Our System comprises a Dell Inspiron with a Intel i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz with 2Gb memory. Our sound module is a Focusrite Saffire Pro40 S/W version 2.2 we are running ten ASIO audio channels.
We are having a problem with looping audio cues intermittently stopping. The looping cues sometimes stop after a level change (although we have seen looping cues stopping that have no level change) Re run the sequence & it may run through many times before failing again. When a fail occurs the green slider on the Cue Panel says playing, sometimes the meter display also indicates the cue is playing, sometimes there is no indication on the meter display, in either case no audio is heard. Sometimes it is possible to restart the cue by dragging the green slider on the cue that has stopped.
We have experienced all the above problems running SCS10.9.3 SCS10.9.4 & SCS10.9.5rc1
The play (The 39 Steps) has 44 MP3 files & 49 WAV files, 189 cues & 30 sub cues.

Re: Looping cues intermittently stopping
Are these cross-faded loops? If so, when the cue stops is it always during the time of a cross-fade?
Could you email me your cue file (the .scsq file) and tell me which cues you give this problem?

Re: Looping cues intermittently stopping
Hello Mike,
The following cues have given problems:
Cue 3 has stopped when in loop (no other cues were being actioned when cue 3 stopped)
Cue 47 has stopped after cue 52 is run (fade cue 50 & increase cue 47)
Cue 47 has stopped when cue 55 is run (increase cue 47 & run two "wind" FX sub cues)
Cue 124 has stopped after cue 134 is run (stop cue 50 lower cue 124)
As I said previously sometimes everything runs through ok. Sometimes a cue stops when a level change is actioned & sometimes the looped cue stops at beginning of the loop after the level change has taken place.
I have sent you the .scsq file via e.mail. When I tried to attach the file to the forum I get the message said "The upload file rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector"
