Test tone volume doesn't work correctly 10.8.3/4(fix 10.8.5)

Weird problem with the test tone level control with ASIO devices - specifically M-Audio Delta DIO. The test tone always starts playing at full volume, regardless of what you set the test tone level to. You can change the level whilst it is playing, but if you stop & then start it again it's back at full regardless of the slider setting.

It works fine with non-ASIO devices.
