Not enough space for Device name to display (mod in 10.8.5)

In the Editor and the Mapper, there is not enough room for the device name....Presonus FP10...The device name is cut off before the channel number. so to assign one has to do trial and error and hope.

There should be enough room for "Presonus FP10" if your Windows text size is 100%. Are you using a larger text size? (This is a Windows setting, not an SCS option.)

If it were only Presonus FP10 there would be no problem, but the text is "FP10#00C7031090Mainout 1&2 (Presonus FP10)" By the time the text gets to the channels it's truncated by the size of the box so I have use trial and error to get the right one(the other outs are labeled 3&4, 5&6 and 7&8 but only after all that other garbage. It's probably something from the driver but I don't know how to change that.

I've applied a simple mod to SCS that addresses this issue and I've emailed you details of a new version to try. With this version the device fields are still the same size but the 'tooltip' (which is displayed when the mouse hovers over the control) will now show the full name of the currently-selected device. So you can now click on any item in the list and then check the tooltip to confirm it's the required device.
