Copied Time Based cue ignored

Post by Criterion_Earlsdon » Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:12 am

Our pre-show announcements are a time-based cue with a number of sub-cues (5 minute; 3-minute; 1-minute; switch off your telephones!) played over a number of outputs. Therefore, I tried copying this from a previous show. In the editor window, it looks fine, but the run window ignored it. I deleted the copied cue and re-entered it from scratch. It now works fine. Does anyone know any reason for this?

Should work OK provided you have Time Profiles defined in your Production properties with exactly the same names as those in the cue file you are importing cues from. I presume you are using 'import cues from another SCS cue file'?

It works OK in 10.7 and previous versions, I use it every time I set up a show and just copy the basic setup into a new file.
Now that is something I can try in 10.8 :D

Thanks Mike, good thought, though I'm not sure if it was the problem. Something for me to re-check on the next show where I will have upgraded to 10.8.2
Thanks,
Dave
