Hi,
I have a production coming up where as well as normal sound effects we require also need to play some of the music cues "powerfully".
To do this, when it comes to the time for the "powerfull" sound cues I want to bring in a subwoofer(but only for these not the normal effects)
Equipment and licence wise we have all we need (SCS with an external rackmount six in/out sound card and all the relevant amps, crossovers and speakers) but what I am not clear on is the best way to do this in SCS, we currently run the outputs as pairs and I don't want to reconfigure the software, is the best way to use sub-cues to run the same audio file to the output for the subwoofers or is there a better way?
Thanks in advance,
Neil

Re: best way to do switchable subwoofers
You should just need to add the extra (subwoofer) output devices to the required cues. So, for example, these cues could be played to FOH and to SUBS.
