Howdy.
Just upgraded to 11.7.0 and whenever I run SCS now, Windows pops up the above message and everything goes boring.
At the same time as the upgrade (from 11.4.6 or 11.6.4, I think), my two displays (1 + 2) switched around so control was all on the projectors and output was on my monitor; I've had to use the "Switch 1+2" button in SCS to fix that - not sure if it's semi-related to this issue or not.
Is this intentional?

[Fix11.7.1]colour scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic
Re: The colour scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic...
According to this link the cause is a perceived shortage of resources. Mike may be able to suggest a reason for that.

There's nothing deliberately built in to SCS that should affect your Windows colour scheme, so maybe it's a resources issue as Malcolm suggests.

Re: The colour scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic...
This could have been due to SCS calling a TVG function to 'disable Aero when starting a video'. In SCS 11.7.1 this function call has been dropped as it seemed to adversely affect the time taken to open video files. (Note that Aero was only used in Vista and Windows 7.)
