Hi,
I have a funny bug. The cue list font gets bigger as I make the window higher. Instead of being able to fit more on the screen I can fit the same amount and it looks crap. I'm using the 11.7.0.1awtr version that you sent me the other week, but I think I had the same issue before I installed that.
Doesn't seem to be any different for HiDPI vs non-HiDPI screens, though it's easier to see the difference on a HiDPI screen because there's more real-estate to scale into. Doesn't seem to matter what font scaling options I ask Windows for or compatibility options I set for scaling on the shortcut.
Conversely, as I shrink the window the cue list font becomes smaller and smaller down until it's unreadable tiny.
It looks like there might be a vertical sizer in the layout that's scaling the content size rather than being restricted by it.
[Fix 11.7.1] Cue list font scales with window size.

That's strange. Do you have the new video driver option 'apply dpi context awareness' set? Does it make any difference if you change this option? (You will need to close and restart SCS after changing this option.)

Re: Cue list font scales with window size.
This has always been the case ever since I've been using SCS in 2011, and I've had it on several laptops and 2 desktops (all mine!!) running various flavours of Win XP, Seven, Eight, Ten etc(?).
It used to do my swede in, but I have learned to live with it - I just run it full screen.
You know me, Mike, I don't like to moan but no other program exhibits that behaviour.
I've added some screen grabs.

Same behavior here. I've never noticed it because I always run it full screen, but when the SCS window is less than full screen and I change the vertical height of the window, making it smaller, the entire contents of the program window (except the tool bar) becomes proportionally smaller, making the font smaller too.
Resizing the window horizontally does not have this effect - it instead just hides portions of the program window.

Sorry about the delay - life has a habit of creeping up on you. Yeah I have that option but changing it and restarting doesn't seem to have any effect.Mike Daniell wrote:That's strange. Re: [Fix 11.7.1] Cue list font scales with window size.
Hi Mike,
Ironicaly I appear to have the opposite problem here.
When running SCS on a 4k monitor the scaling of the main text in the playback window seems to be dictated by the screen size rather than the window size. The edit and options windows seem to be fine.
I have always built up shows with the playback window on one screen and the edit window on another, but since I have switched to a single large monitor this doesn't seem to work.
Maybe some sort of scaling option is needed?
Screenshot:

Edit: I have tried both options for "Apply DPI Context Awareness" and upgrading to 11.8.1 (x64)
Thanks,
Rob
