redesign of Image/video-Size and Aspect-Ratio manipulation

Post by lttton » Wed Dec 27, 2017 3:34 am

Hello Mike,
the actual used sliders for resizing images and videos are a bit uncomfortable and unprecise. I'd like to have a numeric input and any way to set the focus on a slider without moving it so i can adjust it via cursor keys.
In addition it would be great if the images and videos also could be cropped and rotated.
regards,
Uwe

Fix and mod ready for SCS 11.7.0. The fix is that when you click on a slider's pointer then the slider no longer resets the mid-point of the slider to the position you clicked, ie the pointer doesn't move until you drag the pointer. The mod is that for the xPos, yPos and Size properties, SCS now also displays a text field in which you can enter the required values.

I guess you already know that still images can be rotated, but only 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Do you want something different?

Hello Mike,

since You are working on video cue editing... I Would like to have the abilitity to bulk edit fade in and out of video cues and a global adjusting of transitions in slide shows.

Best regards
Jörg

You can do that now, although maybe it's not very clear. In bulk edit select 'Sub-Cue Fade In Time' or 'Sub-Cue Fade Out Time'. These field types apply to video/image sub-cues and to playlist sub-cues.

Jörg,

For RC2 I've combined the operations so 'fade in time' in bulk edit will handle audio file cues, live input cues, video/image cues and playlist cues. Similarly for 'fade out time'.

Oh, seems I overlooked that in a hurry. But many thanks for thechange in the editor, it's more logical to me.
