Wow - SCS now supports DMX Output. A fantastic product just got even better!
Can I suggest that you add a simple DMX output display feature?
It would be useful to have a grid showing output level for each DMX output, especially during show design. This could be similar to existing “DMX Test” screen that can be called up to test DMX inputs, and wouldn't need to be on-screen all the time.
Thanks,
Rob
[In 11.6.0] Onscreen DMX Output dispay
Re: Onscreen DMX Output dispay
+1 from me for this feature
At least a list of the current values sent to specific DMX addresses would be a big help especially at the stage of show design
where no DMX equipment is connected.
Currently it is hard to tell which DMX values will remain at the output when you move within the cue list or setup lighting hotkey cues.
With this feature it would be easy to tell if the fadeout others option is set correctly for all ligthing cues, etc.
Best regards,
Dieter Edinger

Re: Onscreen DMX Output dispay
Optional onscreen DMX output display is planned for SCS 11.6.
I've been looking into Art-Net but the protocol is fairly complicated. Artistic Licence provided an API which would help significantly, but they've only supplied a 32-bit version. I presume that's because their 'DMX Workshop' program is only a 32-bit program. Artistic Licence advised me that they will not be issuing a 64-bit version of the API.
