Control Send Devices Question

Post by paule26 » Sat Jan 30, 2016 6:23 am

Hi, I am new with SCS, just playing with the Trial Version.
Could anybody tell me how to configure more than one Control Send Device?
In the manual is a picture with 8 devices (S1 - S8),
I only can configure 1 device (S1) and there is no "+" at the left side to add another.
Is this a limitation in the Trial Version?
I would like to have two Network Out (Telnet) simultanious, is this possible?
thx

Yes, that is a limitation of the demo version. With an SCS Professional license you will be able to use up to 4 control send devices, and with SCS Professional Plus or Platinum you be able to use up to 8. (SCS Lite and Standard do not support Control Send at all). If you need to be able to use two Control Send devices to properly evaluate SCS for your requirements, let me know.

Thank you
Looking at the compare chart, I thougt to need Professional Plus, but when I understand you right, Professional would be enough?

For Network Send (eg Telnet) you will need Professional Plus. I should have mentioned that in my earlier reply.
