Video Out via external Video Hardware

hello
Is it possible to output video via external video hardware such as Motu HDX-SDI or Motu HD Express?
These devices do not appear even as a screen device and SCS "sees" not them.

The new video SDK that I'm currently evaluating claims to provide support for Blackmagic Decklink, plus a couple of other cards which appear to be superseded. There's no mention of the MOTU video cards, so I doubt that they would be supported for a while.
