Fading subcues

Post by jmgordon » Sat May 06, 2006 3:58 am

I have put together a cue Q10 with 5 subcues to provide background through a scene, some of the later subcues starting 30 seconds or a minute after the first. Q11 is a manual cue to fade Q10 when the scene ends. My question is how to fade the scene early, e.g. if a later cue is still counting down or hasn't started its count. The running subcues fade out, then the later ones start up after their count is finished.

"Fade all earlier cues" doesn't work on subcues that haven't started, although the Fade cue comes after them in the cue list. Would it work if the cues were main cues not subcues? It seems the only was to stop (conditionall) cues that haven't started is to hit Escape, which seems a bit drastic.
