.avi movie files do not work in SCS11?

They worked fine (and still work fine) in SCS 10, but won't display in SCS11. SCS11 will say that they are playing, but the time slider does not move, and nothing is displayed.

Which video playback library are you using in SCS 10? (This option is set under General Options / Permanent Options, and is on the General tab.)

In SCS 10 I was using xVideo. In SCS 10 the .avi will also play when set to DirectShow as well. If I set it to SCSMM, the .avi will play the audio, but not the video of the movie file.

SCS 11 currently uses the equivalent of SCSMM but I am hoping to include xVideo in 11.1.0 as mentioned under SCS 11.1.0 RC1 (Release Candidate 1) Available.

As an alternative until this is available, can you convert the .avi file to another format, eg .wmv? Or even just 'converting' from .avi to .avi using the NCH Prism Video Converter may adjust the internal format of the file sufficiently to allow SCS 11 to play the file.

I am having an issue with a WMV video that I add to my show cue. It plays the first second and then stops. It seemed to work fine the first time I added the cue but everytime I open the cue file it does not work. It plays for half a second and all sound and video stop? What could be the issue!?

Could you email me your cue file (the .scs11 file)?
