HI Mike
Just a quick request.
Is it possible to create a midi library so that when sending midi commands you don’t have to remember every one you use? The idea would be that you would add a device to the library ( eg. DVD, cd, video switch) then add actions for that device (e.g. Play, Pause, input 1 input2....) then you assign the midi command to each of the actions. Then when you go in to add a new midi send cue you just look in the library and chose the device and command you need.
Looking further ahead you could create libraries for manufacturers and devices then people could upload / download them and install the device they need without having to worry about midi.
I hope this all make sense to you.
Greig.

I've been considering this idea for a while but previously had mainly been considering it's application in relation to lighting boards and sound boards. They are more volatile than DVD playesr etc, as most lighting and scene settings would vary between shows. I can see that a MIDI library could be very useful for more constant MIDI commands, such as for operating DVD players etc. I'll put it on the list for SCS 11.
