The image cues are great. Thank you Mike.
Would it (or is it already) possible to use an image cue to display a JPG file that runs until triggered by another cue rather than for a specific amount of time. In my next show, I have dance routines that are matched to pieces of music, so I know how long they are, but in between these there are bits of dialog where I don't know how long they will be and these are no sound cues playing. However, I would loke to have an image displayed while the dialog is happening. The image would also span several dance routines - so, I suppose, it's like scenery really. I would start it on a particular music cue in the usual way and then end it at the end of a different music cue and there may be several pieces of music in between.
Many thanks

Check the "Continuous Play" tick box?

Thanks, yes. I discovered that not long after I submitted my original post... I could stop it manually and that would almost do the job perfectly. If there was a 'Play continuosly until' a particular cue started or stopped, that would be perfect.

Re: Image cues
What type of cue do you want to use to stop or fade out the image? If it's something like an Audio File cue then you will need to add an SFR sub-cue to the Audio File cue, to stop or fade out the Image cue. If it's another Image cue then there's an undocumented feature: starting an Image cue will automatically stop a currently displayed Image cue. As usual, if the new Image cue has a fade-in time then you will get a cross-fade between the images.
Re: Image cues
Mike, you've done it again!... What a star. Your undocumented feature is fantastic and just exactly 100% what I need. I have a black jpg that I bring in for a couple of seconds when I want to turn my 'scenery' cue off. It looks absolutely excellent when played back - the cross fade is amazing. I can't thank you enough.
Best regards and many, many thanks.
