Linux?

Post by d_korman » Thu Apr 10, 2008 6:05 pm

Mike,

With the release of the ASUS EEE and soon the EEE 900, and with Dell now shipping laptops with Ubuntu pre-loaded, any thoughts on a linux port for SCS,(before we all drown under Vista bloatware)?

Not for a while, unfortunately. The BASS audio library used by SCS is not yet available for Linux (although it has been requested), so until it is I'll not be porting SCS to Linux.

Has there been any headway on this? I'm just starting to get into Linux and would like the option of running SCS on that platform. Any timetable at all?
