I want to run my ETC Express lighting board from SCS, and I have proven to my satisfaction that it will work -- but unfortunately not in my preferred mode. I have an M-Audio Uno USB-Midi interface connected to my laptop running Win2K. It sends midi music cues correctly (Note ON, Note OFF, Program Change, etc) and I verified that with the lighting console. However, I would prefer to use Midi Show Control cues, but when I attempt to send them from SCS I get an error pop-up "SendMSC midiOutUnprepareHeader: SendMSC to USB Uno MIDI Out. An invalid parameter was passed to a system function."
This command stream works just fine from my desktop running Win XP Pro.
I have no way of telling from this error information whether the problem is in SCS under Win2K (I'm running SCS 9.4.4) or if it is the M-Audio driver. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Can't see anything obvious that could cause this error, but I haven't tried this on a Win2K machine, or with an M-Audio Uno. Works OK on my XP desktop with an Audigy card, and on my Vista laptop with an Edirol UA-101. I could try it under Win2K as I have an old laptop with that installed, but I don't currently have a Win2K driver for the Edirol. Anyone else tried MSC with Win2K?
