We are only getting stereo audio when we try to play our surround sound files in Sound Cue System. We have tried a 5.1 WMA file and a interleaved PCM WAV- both of these will only play into the RF and LR speakers. Both the WMA and WAV play in surround sound when opened with Windows Media Player 11.
I left the speaker selection pull down menu empty, in hopes that the channels would be automatically distributed. I was unable to individually assign the channels because only top two pull down menus were clickable.
We are running the SCS 9.3 demo. Win Xp, Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit. We have the driver from the Creative Labs website and the ASIO4all driver installed.
I'm new to this- any ideas about what we’re doing wrong?

What settings do you have in the Audio driver Options in SCS? For Creative Labs cards you need the following settings:

I've found these settings work with individual speaker assignments but haven't tested this with a surround-sound file. Unfortunately my own Audigy card seems to have died - can't get anything out of it with any software.
