Midi Suspend Button (in 9.4.2)

Post by Nick » Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:32 pm

Hi Mike,

Another little addition that would be really useful would be a button on the main workspace that prevented SCS being triggered by incoming Midi. Basically a quick way of stopping effects being fired by an external source of Midi such as Console Software, in instances like where you are editing a cue on that external software, or rehearsing a text section across a cuepoint and don't want the associated effect to fire every time. One can go into the Options:Midi Control menu tab, and turn off midi control, but that is a bit long-winded for the situation described. A Hotkey, Ctrl-Key combination or similar would be fine, as ling as when activated (ie Midi blocked), there was some sort of message on screen to warn you.

Cheers,
nick
