9.27 Instalation problem

Post by Peter Russell » Thu Oct 26, 2006 12:10 am

Hi Mike, I have just downloaded the 9.27 update and installed it and now SCS fails to open at all,
The splash screen appears for a split second and then nothing.
The same thing happened when i tried to install the all executables file.

Is it just me or is there a problem with the downloads?

Peter

...I've had the same problem; reverting to 9.1.6 works fine though...

I downloaded and installed the minimum set - scs9minset.exe with a size of 2.06MB, created 24/10/06 20:20.

Malcolm

Edit - In response to Mike's query which now seems to have disappeared.

Yes, sorry about that. When I re-read Peter's original posting the query I realised he had already tried the 'all executables' and presumably then his first attempt was with the 'minimum set'. So my question seemed to have already been answered. But thanks for your extra info, Malcolm.

I'll contact you all by email.
