Hi Everyone,
Our laptop running SCS is now pretty much full with music and need more space...
Option 1: Micro SD card slot in laptop. Can get 256gb for £30-40 and it'll live in the laptop and not take up any USB slots.
Option 2: Portable USB HD. Can get much more storage for the same price. Another thing to carry round/forget and lost a USB slot.
Am I likely to suffer any performance problems from a Micro SD? I only use SCS for audio, and a bit of midi no video.
Many thanks for any advice.
Tom

You should be OK with a Micro SD, especially as you are not using video. As always, do at least one 'dry tech' run well before your first major rehearsal or performance.
