Does anyone know how to assign one of the buttons on a 'thatlittlebox usb go box' to a hotkey on SCS?

From what I've seen in the User Manual, if you just need GO (green button) and STOP (red button) then:
  • On the USB GO Box select PC1 mode.
  • Connect the USB GO Box to your computer and then start SCS.
  • In SCS go to Production Properties - Devices - Cue Control, and select Device Type 'MIDI In'.
  • Under MIDI In Port select the USB GO Box (I don't know how that will be identified in the list).
  • Under Control Method select 'MIDI Program Change (0-127)'.
  • Set MIDI Channel to 1.
  • CLEAR the entry against 'Play Cue 1-127'.
  • Scroll down 'Cue Control Commands' to 'Go' Button, and set this to 'Program Change' pp 0.
  • Set 'Stop Everything' to 'Program Change' pp 1.
  • Click 'Apply Device Changes' and save your cue file.
You should now be able to use the green and red buttons to start and stop cues.

Thanks Mike
You have no doubt seen that the user manual is a bit sparse and i have managed to assign stop and go and forward cue, back cue as well, but i cant find a way to assign a button to a cue command button for a hotkey. Go box people say they don't know as its an SCS thing and they are not that familiar with it. Thanks anyway.

Assuming you do not want more than two hotkey cues (as there are only two other buttons available on the GO Box), then set 'Play Cue 1-127' to 'Program Change (CnH)'. Leave the other settings as advised in my previous post. This will generate a clash but SCS handles that with a warning message that certain 'MIDI Cue Numbers' will not be available as they are used by functions like 'Stop Everything', etc.

Now in the first cue you want to activate this way, set the 'MIDI/DMX Cue' to 4, and in the second such cue set this field to 5. Now when you press the yellow button, the MIDI Cue 4 should play, and on pressing the blue button, MIDI Cue 5 should play.
