Can SCS play 2 videos at once?
Can SCS (version 11.8.2.1 standard license) play 2 videos at once out to 2 different projectors? I can output the same thing to 2 outputs and I can do 2 different slides one on each projector but I can’t figure out how to run 2 videos at the same time. Is this capability even enabled yet?
I have spent a good part of today working on this.

And I just discovered that I can’t seem to play one video and have it go to both outputs. I am just looking at the 2 preview screens in SCS.

Do you have the projector screens set as extensions of the Windows desktop? They need to be. If you still can't get this to work then please email me the log file from a run in which you tried to play a video cue to the 2nd and/or 3rd screen. A log file will have been created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started.
Re: Can SCS play 2 videos at once?
I had it setup like that yesterday using 2 TVs to test this. One TV (1080) was feed from the HDMI output of the notebook computer and the other TV (4K but feeding it only 1080) from a USB3 – HDMI adapter, like I was asking about in my other post. They were setup as an extension of the desktop and it worked (except for trying to play 2 videos) after a bit of playing around with settings and me putting a USB3 hub between the computer and the USB3- HDMI adapter. I didn’t try playing one video to the 2 TVs. I will try that tomorrow. When testing it yesterday and today after I tried to play 2 videos at once SCS crashed. And it Crashed every time yesterday and today.Mike Daniell wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 12:37 pmDo you have the projector screens set as extensions of the Windows desktop? They need to be. I will try to run more tests with it set up that way again. I thought that it would work in design mode on the monitor screen in SCS. But it sounds like you are saying that that won’t work without it being setup exactly as I would use it for the show.
I am not sure how to setup a cue to playback 2 videos at once. I have read a lot of the SCS 11.8.2.1 Documentation and watched the videos on the SDS website and I can see how to do it on audio files but not on Video files. Can you please point me to the pages in the documentation that explains how to do this.
Thank you for your help.

If the program crashes then the log will help me see why.TheMaxx wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 2:33 pmI had it setup like that yesterday using 2 TVs to test this. No, you do not need all screens connected to run the test if you just need to see that the videos play. If you have the 'Video Monitor Size' display option set to something other than 'None' then you should see a monitor display on your main screen for each screen nominated in video/image cues.
To play two video files simultaneously (to different outputs) then you just need to set up a cue with two video sub-cues, settings the 'Screen' appropriately for each of the sub-cues.TheMaxx wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 2:33 pmI am not sure how to setup a cue to playback 2 videos at once. I tried to attach a log file and I got an error that is was too big. I found one from earlier this afternoon that was a zip file 553k and I got the same error that it was too big to upload.Mike Daniell wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 12:37 pmDo you have the projector screens set as extensions of the Windows desktop?
