SCS 11.9 User Interface

Post by willmodelisme » Fri Dec 06, 2019 7:01 pm

Great new this morning when I open up my PC. :D :D

-in the main window I would like to be able to set the CUE list on the left and the playing CUEs on the right, in a kind of minimal mode, only a time line.
-I sometime run SCS with a 4K screen station PC. I would like to be able to resize the "video monitor size" (large is too small in this case).
-I work a lot with adobe premiere and love the interface. I would love to see similar color scheme for SCS.

My other 2 cents input:
-in the SC editor, being able to delete a CUE pressing DEL keyboard and also using "CTRL X/C/V" for editing. (CTR 1/2/3 will never be my taste).
-new OSC message for the X32, fader position would be great. Only some key positions to begin with would be enough, unity, full down, half up.
-For all other OSC message and for the use of Free text OSC, I would like to be able to "copy past" OSC message from the OSC monitor.

I would be more that happy to help at any stage, just ask.

The problem with this is that CTRL X/C/V are used for field editing, eg for copying 'when required' text from one cue to another cue.

High DPI Aware

I use a 17" hi res laptop with 100% scaling - when editing I find that the font used is too small and cannot be changed - Is it possible in the new version for the editor to be high dpi aware so that I can read the text more easily

I also work a lot with Adobe Premiere -- and I agree that it would be great to copy Premiere's UI color scheme. It is excellent!

Hello Mike. I decided to post here anyway.
Yes, I agree that a color scheme such as that of Adobe Premiere would be very convenient. Perhaps even better would be like in Presonus Studio One 5. But the problem is not only in the color scheme. Well, not in the colors themselves. The problem is also in what the interface itself is built on.
Now the vast majority of people work on modern computers and support for interfaces based on, for example, OpenGL is the norm. Yes, this requires a little more video card resources. But this no longer plays a big role for modern PCs. This is the drawing of "Shadows", "Glow" buttons, textures, transitions ..
It is very difficult to look at almost monochrome colors. This is unnatural for a person, because the eyes get tired quickly. There are also very interesting interface settings in VST PlugIns Voxengo! I think that you should pay attention to what interface settings, color schemes, textures, shadows and other things are there. It can be seen
by visiting voxengo.com and downloading any of their free plugins or a demo version of any paid plugin.
Thank you, I hope my suggestions will benefit SCS.
Sincerely, Pavel.
PS
Sorry for my bad english. :)
