I run SCS11.8.1 with an Enttec DMXUSBPro (Firmware 1.44) using the FTDI-Drivers vers. 2.12.28 at ComPort 3 and it worked really good. In SCS / Physical device it shows up as DMXUSBPro with it's Serial Number in brackets
Today I got a new Enttec DMXUSBPro MK2 (Firmware 4.15). After installation it had ComPort 4 and the same drivers... but it doesnt work. No DMX signal appeared. It shows up as FT245R USB FIFO (AC00LG9P) an not as DMXUSBPro MK2. In the settings, the "DMX Refresh Rate" dropdown is active, like for an "Enttec OPEN DMX USB" instead of the expected "DMX Port". It seems, that something in the identification went wrong. After de- and reinstalling the drivers nothing had changed.
If I plug in both interfaces simultaneously, setup 2 seperate lighting devices, assign in e.g cue 1 one fixture to the Pro, in e.g. cue 2 a second fixture to the MK2 and attach the DMX cable once to the Pro and once to the MK2 for me strange things happen: Attached to the PRO as well the fixture assigned to the Pro as the one to the MK2 reacts. (I assumed that only the Pro shows signals) . Attached to the MK2 nothing happened to both nor the status LED changed.
Has somebody an idea what I did wrong?
Thanks for helping me.

Re: Problems with Enttec DMXUSBPro MK2 - no DMX signals
I've had a similar report from another user, so it seems that the 'description' published by the ENTTEC driver has been changed. If SCS cannot find a match for the published description then it defaults to the Open DMX settings. Later today my time I will upload SCS 11.8.2 RC2 (release candidate 2) and that will include support for "FT245R USB FIFO" to be the equivalent of "DMX USB PRO MK2".

Please try using your ENTTEC interface with SCS 11.8.2 Release Candidate 2, which I've just uploaded.
Re: Problems with Enttec DMXUSBPro MK2 - no DMX signals
Thank you Mike for your very quick help. With the release Candidate 2 the Enttec DMXUSBPro MK2 will be indentified as FT245R USB FIFO followed by the serial number in brackets. The dropdown for the DMX port is displayed as it should!.
The DMX signals go to the correct ports and lights. But...
in a setup with DMXUSBPro and the DMXUSBPro MK2 in parallel, assigned to 2 (resp. 3) different lighting devices with the same DMX-Out settings, there is no difference between the Output of the DMXUSBPro and the DMXUSBPro MK2 Port1.
I expected, that there will be no signal at the DMXUSBPro-Output , if I send signals through the DMXUSBPro MK2 Port1 and vice versa. But it happened that both interfaces send DMX-signals. The DMXUSBPro MK2 Port2 works as I expected.
Is that, for my part, an error in reasoning, or?
Thanks again for your quick help.

A log file will have been created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Please email me the log file from this run.
