VST plugins and Live Sound

I suspect that this would be a step too far... but would it be possible to apply plugins to live sound inputs? Thanks.

Unfortunately no - at least, not yet. Live inputs are handled by SoundMan-Server (SM-S), including the audio output of those live inputs. SM-S doesn't support VST plugins, and I recently asked Richmond Sound Design about this and was advised that although this was desirable, no support had yet been programmed. The SM-S documentation states "In a future version, SoundMan-Server will be able to host a large number of VST plugins" but it appears that's still a way off.
