Cue List in Production View Scrolls to Bottom

Post by Dave Jenkins » Tue Sep 10, 2019 3:10 am

When going through a series of videos, each with a separate cue, when the video starts to play, the list of cues scrolls to the bottom. Any way to keep that from happening? Would prefer to scroll automatically when the cue running is not visible in the list pane.

I'll check the log you email me in relation to your posting about video thumbnails.

Dave, by default SCS sets focus to the next manual cue, and as all your cues after the first cue are auto-starts, SCS set focus to the 'End' after you started the first and only manual-start cue. You can change this default behavior under Production Properties / Run Time Settings. Change the setting of 'focus cue list at' from 'next manual cue' to 'cue currently playing'.

Btw, I extracted your cue file from the log you sent me. You have set Q27 to auto-start 10 seconds after the start of the previous cue. I presume this should be after the end of the previous cue, as you have set this for all the other auto-start cues.

Thanks so much Mike - big help. And good catch on the auto start setting - that will save me some grief, I'm sure!
