Lightfactory Telnet commands

Post by dalx » Fri Apr 19, 2019 4:56 pm

I wish to control Lightfactory from SCS on the same PC using telnet commands.

I have established connection between the 2 programs and am able to see text arriving in LF from SCS.

However I don't know the correct syntax for those commands to control the cue, ie, stepping forward and back etc. and am having trouble finding the correct information.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.
Geoff.

Further to my post, I have found that Telnet commands are easier than I thought, I was getting confused with brackets etc, simply type go in SCS to advance the cue in LF, problem solved, I was over thinking the issue.

Can you command a specific cue number, to keep sequences together? "go" will advance the cue in LF, but one would like to keep links on order.

Yes you can trigger a specific cue remotely in Light Factory.
Use " Note Triggers" - you can assign a unique MIDI note to trigger a Lightfactory short cut or a command
