Hi SCS Community,
i'm quite new to SCS, just bought my license 2 weeks ago. I was working wie Q:Lab in a theatre and was looking for a non-Mac Software with the same functionality (Playing simple Audio and Video Cues)
I've set up a production for a new play which has Audios (Only Front L/R) and Video-Sequences (one Screen).
My Hardware-Setup: I'm useing a Lenovo MIIX520 with Core i5 8th Generation - so it has only "onchip" Intel Graphics. The Beamer (1920x1080) is connected via USB-C -> HDMI Interface. The Beamer is set as extended Desktop of my PCs Desktop and recognised in SCS as Screen 2 with (as it looks for me) correct coordinates.
My problem is: when I play a Video-Cue for the very first time, the video is displayed at the correct position on the Beamer. But when I start a second video-cue after the first has finished playing, it is shifted to the left and die left part is displayed on my PCs screen. On the Beamer I only see 2/3 of the video. For the next video-Cues played, the behavior is unpredictable. Some cuesa are played correct, some shifted.
There are one two ways, correct position and shifted as described above. No other Positions.
When I press ESC to stop all Cues nd afterwards select any video cue, it is displayed in the shifted way above, but the next Video cue is displayed correctly. But after that, the random behavior is back.
I'm completely out of thoughts. Can someone give me a hint, what I can do to reliably play video cues?
Do you need any other hardware- or software information?
Thank you so much for your help!
Justin

Re: Vidoe Playback Randomly chenages Positon on Screen 2
Justin,
Please run a 'simple' test that reproduces this problem, and then close SCS and email me the log file from the run, explaining what happened. A log file will have been created and saved as a zip file in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents" or "My Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started.

Re: Vidoe Playback Randomly chenages Positon on Screen 2
Mike,
I'm in prep for our Dress Rehearsal which starts in 2 hours.
I came here looking for issues with video position...
We've got a sequence of videos that are at 65% ratio to fit on our projector screen (as another video later needs to be 100% to fill the stage without screen).
If you preview them on screen 2 in the editor, they play at 65% ok.
When you play them live in the cue list, even after closing/opening SCS, they play 100%.
SCS 11.7.0 but I daren't upgrade so close to show; we open tomorrow night.
Any thoughts on this?

I know very little about video files as I very rarely use them, but here's a thought you might investigate in case Mike doesn't see this before he goes to bed - is there a display option in design/performance mode ("Options" on main window ribbon) that is overriding what you have set up in the editor? I have no idea if this is relevant.
