Starting part way through a cue

So in the past I've had a couple of shows where we have a longish piece of music that the cast moving to or perhaps backinbg music a fight type scene. In rehearsals we've wanted to keep going back to the particular point in the piece to rehearse and refine the associated movenments. The current production has 4 specific points in it.

What would be useful is one of 2 things:

1) A Set Position cue to be able to act on a non running cue so as to trigger it from a point part way through (usually at a Cue Marker but as currently relative or absoloute is fine too. That way the Set Position cue could be triggered by hot key. The option on the Set Position cue to then play or not play from that position would be useful.

Or

2) A new parameter into a Call Cue for a start point. That way once again perhaps using a Call Cue triggered by a Hot Key we can go to various places as the rehearsal demands.

How feasible are eithger of those 2 options or is there already a facility that I've missed?

Since you mention 'Call Cue', we could allow an Audio File cue's 'Start At' and 'End At' times to be set by a Call Cue's parameters. See Callable Cues in the Help.

That would work Mike.

I already use Fade in and Fade Out times on Callable cues
