Setting OSC for Qlab control

Hello! Please help me figure it out! You need to make the settings in the Show Cue Systems so that you can control the launch of replicas in the Qlab using the OCS. PC and MAC are connected with a network ethernet cable through a Mikrotik router. The router is configured. What needs to be done to make it work?
I really hope for your help!
Thank you in advance, respectfully, Pavel.

Are you trying to use QLab as a backup for SCS, similar to the SCS backup facility explained here: Setting up a Backup Computer? There are no plans to support this. If, however, you want to use OSC Control Send cues in SCS to control QLab then that should be possible. However, I'm not familiar with QLab and cannot advise you of the necessary OSC messages.

Hello, Mike!
We don't need a SCS backup. We need to send commands to the QLab to run some videos that need to be in sync with the sound running in the SCS. The teams that the OSC that the QLab uses we know. There's no problem with that. The problem is to set up the SCS settings to send the correct message on the OSC on the cable Ethernet. You need your help only in adjusting the parameters correctly in the SCS. We will be very grateful to you. Respectfully, Paul.
PS
And I'm sorry for my English!

If you have set up a Network Control Send device, and a Control Send cue to send an OSC message to QLab, then if that didn't work could you email me the SCS log file from that run? A log file will have been created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started.

Also, tell me what OSC command(s) you are trying to use.

Hello Mike!
The fact is that I am asking you to help us set up correctly Network Control Send device, and a Control Send cue to send an OSC message to QLab.
We cannot figure out how to do it correctly.
We would be very grateful if you could help us with this!
Sincerely, Paul.

Hi Paul,

I can't test it because I don't haven QLab but I hope it will work with the following settings in SCS.

Go to 'Production Properties', click on the tab 'Devices' and then on the tab 'Control Send'. For that last tab perhaps you have to scroll to the right.
Click on the pulldown menu to the right of 'S1' and select 'Network Out'. Give it a name like 'to QLab'.
Then on the bottom half choose for 'Remote Device': 'Other OSC Device', 'Network Protocol': 'UDP' and 'Network Role': 'SCS is a Network Client'.
'IP address of Server name' you have to fill in the IP-address of the Qlab computer and 'Port No.' is 53000 (this is the 'listening' port of QLab).
Apply the Device Changes.

Now you make a 'Control Send' cue.
Select for 'Device' the name you gave it (i.e. 'to QLab')
Select for 'Remote Device': 'Other OSC Device'
Select for 'OSC Command Type': 'Free Format'
Now you can give the 'OSC Message' in the box. For the possible messages you have to see the documentation of QLab.

Be sure both computers 'see' each other. You can use the 'ping' command in Windows to check this.

Good luck! Eelco

Vellemum, thank you very much!
We will try to do this next week. After that I will write here whether it worked or not.
Thanks again!
Sincerely, Paul.
