Audio Cue Set to Hibernate in Show does not set to Ready for next show

Post by berto2002 » Sun Sep 21, 2025 10:04 pm

Hi. I think I have hit something that needs looking into.
I repeatedly had a certain cue not starting in test runs of the show; and thus the show stopped since other dependent cues didn't get their trigger.
I think I have seen this is down to a part error on my side but perhaps a weakness that could be addressed in code.
I had an SFR cue to hibernate an audio cue.
I originally then had a resume SFR cue but later removed that so we no longer had a SFR to 'unhibernate' the first cue.
What I found was, after a test run, the hibernation status of the audio queue would be reflected in the Editor as "hibernating".
When running the show forwards again, that cue would not trigger.
The workaround is to, each run, click into the editor, onto that cue, and press stop button to put it in ready status. Then it runs ok.
I believe I have fixed the cause by changing the Fade to Hibernate to Fade and Stop; and the tests so far do leave the Cue in Ready state in the Editor.
Thoughts on this:
- Should Stop All in the play screen reset all cues to Ready?
- Should what happens in the play screen be allowed to permanently update what's in the Editor to set a cue to hibernating.
I have a screenshot but the forum says it's too large to add as attachment (even though it's only 583 KB; could this be increased to a few Mb maybe)
Regards

Since changing the order of the cues as mentioned above, this problem has not reoccurred.
