Re: New bug: Chase Lighting cue after a hotkey converts itself to Manual Cue after running
I hadn't actually considered the possibility of having a auto-start cue associated with a hotkey cue. I had always considered hotkey cues to be self-contained. I'm not totally familiar with what you are wanting to achieve but another possibility is to make the lighting cue (Q63) a sub-cue of the hot...

Re: New bug: Chase Lighting cue after a hotkey converts itself to Manual Cue after running
Try this: in your original cue list, change the Activation Method of Q63 to 'Callable Cue', and in your hotkey cue (Q25) add a 'Call Cue' sub-cue to call Q63.
Note also that you can easily renumber your cues. In the Editor, under the 'Cues' toolbar button there is a menu item 'Renumber Cues'.

Re: SCS Demo version 11.10.7 (64) Crashes when position fader is used
Sorry about that. I hadn't re-compiled the demo before re-uploading. I've now corrected and tested the demo, so please try re-downloading now.

Our apologies for this error. It has been reported before and a fix has been released, but unfortunately the fix was not applied to the demo version. I have now corrected that, so please re-download the demo version.

Re: Improve the behaviour of "Live DMX" feature in Editor
Some good suggestions here which I will consider further. Changing the action of the 'Live DMX Test' checkbox is relatively easy to implement and I agree with your suggestions. However, adding this to the toolbar is more work so I can't promise this very soon.

Re: Video not displaying on Screen 2 (screen 3 ok)
As mentioned in an earlier posting, SCS numbers the displays (internally) in the following order: The primary display is always #1. Other displays are numbered starting at #2, left-to-right, top-to-bottom. The intention of this is to ensure that the display numbers used by SCS do not change unless t...

Re: Video not displaying on Screen 2 (screen 3 ok)
Rob, There's an error in the SCS documentation ( Video Driver Settings ), but this poses the question as to whether or not an option should be added or the process changed. In the early days of writing SCS with older versions of Windows, I found the Windows display number to be unreliable. So I modi...

Please email us the log file from a run in which this happened. Log files are created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of each file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Email the file to support@showcuesystems.com.

Templates are definitely the best solution for your requirments, but also consider Import Devices from another SCS Cue File.

Re: High Latency with WASAPI vs. ASIO on Scarlett
The issue with ASIO affecting all the faders would be due to having all your devices assigned to the same ASIO outputs (1-2).Will you have unique assignments (1-2, 3-4, etc) for the live production? If not, please email me a log file from a run - preferably a run with WASAPI - so I can get a better ...

Re: Is there a secret to DMX In AND Out or is this a bug?
Dee has done some more investigation into this and found this explanation in ENTTEC Tech Support: USB>DMX: Input & Output. So this is a deliberate limitation imposed by the ENTTEC software to prevent 'data degradation and flickering'.

Re: Is there a secret to DMX In AND Out or is this a bug?
SCS uses an external package from FTDI (Future Technology Devices International) for sending and receiving DMX, and my tests confirm the results you have reported. SCS can respond to incoming DMX to activate cues, but after SCS has played a Lighting Cue to send DMX, no more incoming DMX is passed fr...

Mark,
I have a Mk2 which I occasionally use. I'm currently away from home nut return late on Thursday. I can run some tests on Friday. Please send a log file as requested by Dee.
