Hi all,
I have been using SCS for video for sometime but haven't seen this before.
In the Main Window, next to some cues there are two \\. These cues seem to misbehave. The cues following these cues don't Auto Start. The cues seem to jump around. When I delete the cue and then re-instate it all seems good. However, when I close SCS and then re-open it the backslashes appear.
I can't see the backslashes in the Editor Window, only in the Main Window.
When I open the SCS file on another computer, the backslashes aren't there.
Any thoughts?

Re: Video Cue issues
If SCS is displaying // after consecutive cue numbers then SCS is treating playback of those cues as gapless. See Gapless Playback for details. I don't know why they would misbehave. Did you have the editor window open at the time, with one of the cues selected?
Could you email me a diagnostic file and tell me which cues are giving trouble? You can create this file by selecting 'Create Diagnostic File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Diagnostics" under "Documents" or "My Documents".

Re: Video Cue issues
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply. I wasn't clear in my original post I don't think - the cues which had \\ after them were video cues. I wasn't aware that video cues could be gapless. I'm not with the show file at the moment, but when I am I'll e mail a dump file.

Re: Video Cue issues
Hi Mike,
Further to my last post I am sitll having difficulties. The gapless playback issue seems to have been solved on this show file, but there are lots of other issues:
1. When I try and run the show with the TVG video driver I get two error messages. Picture attached. The cue panel section of the Main Window doesn't load. I have the latest download of the ffdshow video codecs. I have also tried uninstalling ffdshow and running without.
2. When I try to run the show using Xvideo it is still extremely unstable. If I run a cue, then want to go back to a different place in the cue list, SCS just hangs and needs to be restarted. On certain cues it just won't play certain videos (Q4). Seems to be much better when no external screen is attached, but as soon as I try to display on any sort of external monitor or projector SCS gets really upset. Although, I still get error messages saying the file open error even with no external screen attached when trying to load simple things such as images. I have tried changing the resolution of the screen, but that doesn't help. I also get a "The call to an Xvideo function to play this video failed: error code = 0".
I am slightly pulling my hair out with this. I have followed all of the advice that I can find on the help file and on the forum.
