We want to play a dialog between a real guy and himself in a video.
To do this we recorded sentences of the video guy with long tails to have room to left real guy interact with audience.
I have a video track playing and I hit space bar to play the next sentence. It works but there is a little black out between both videos.
DirectShow works better than xVideo, but is not enough.
Is there anybody here has done something like this?
Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Lluís

Re: Video start delay
Hi
First off which version of SCS are you using?
Older versions tended to do this, as a work around I made all video fade up from black and have a black image always play at the end of a cue
before my next cue.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your answer.
The SCS version in 11.2.5 pro plus.
The computer is an i7 8GB Windows7 with SCS and nothing else (no antivirus, no bells and whistles, no internet connection).
The video projector is connected with VGA connector.
We were trying to do something like a hangout. The "video" guy is always in the screen and "waits" for answers of the real guy.
But we cannot record a continuous video track because we don't know the time length of answers of real guy. The answers depend on the reactions of the audience.
Regards,
Lluís

Re: Video start delay
HI
I'm running the same version and I do not get the black flash. What type of file are you playing and also might be good to check
you projector settings, have a play around at different resolutions it could be that, I'm running both my projectors at 1024 x 768
and using AVI files produced using Prism convertor.
