SCS 10.7.3, recent install of Windows 7 Home Prem SP1, on a Dell laptop
Try to access General Options, it says Run-time Error 372,
Failed to load control 'ucSliderH1' from .
Your version may be outdated.
Make sure you are using the version of the control
that was provided with your application

(works OK on my Dell desktop Windows 7 HomePrem,, not SP1 (?!)

I found this explanation on the Microsoft Support website: "This can occur when the user running the application is logged on under a different user account than the user account who installed the application, and the installation package installed the application on a per user basis."

Are you running SCS under the same user account as it was installed? And does that user account have admin privileges? (The SCS installer should be checking for admin privileges anyway, but it's worth checking).

I see from our database that you have a current update plan, so I recommend you install the latest version of SCS (10.9.7). Normally I do not recommend uninstalling before you install a new version as uninstalling will clear SCS Options saved in the Windows Registry, but due to the error 372 you have encountered I suggest that this time you do uninstall SCS before installing the latest version.
