Looping bug in SCS 10.9.1 (fix in 10.9.2)

Post by djvomght » Thu Jan 19, 2012 1:39 am

Hallo,

run today into the following problem: if You have files looped, the loop is played only twice when the files are played over two (or more, did not test this) devices. In the cue list, the status remains as playing, but there is no audio anymore.

Regards Jörg

Seems to be another 'internal mixer' issue - loops work perfectly if you're not using the internal mixer. Looking into it now.

Try SCS 10.9.2 RC1 which is now available on the Members' Download page. I've checked this out with looping cues to one or more outputs, with and without crossfades, with and without the internal mixer, and with and without ASIO. There's one outstanding issue related to SoundMan-Server usage, where a cross-faded loop is not releasing, but all looping should now work OK for BASS usage. I'll look into the SM-S issue a bit more.

Let me know how you get on.

SCS 10.9.2 RC2 is now available, which fixes the looping for SM-S users.
