Inside my Production tab, i have all of my sound channels separated out from my HTO STRIKER 7.1 device. i am able to test tone them out and they all come out properly.
but when i go to build my cues that i need to come out of different speakers, its not playing nice. all of my sounds just come from the same place very time.
i am running SCS 10.7.4
example of want i want a cue to do:
start in my sub, then build to my front speakers, then fill to all of my speakers
what its doing:
quiet, quiet, LOUD!
as a test, i set the audio file to come from the sub, and hit "play". the graphic of sound coming out from the output device window is on the upper right of the screen is moving, but no sound is coming out.
any ideas?

Re: Output devices not playing nice
I don't know anything about the HTO STRIKER but if the SCS meters are indicating sound is being played then sound should be getting out of SCS. So could there be something in the HTO STRIKER driver that's blocking the sound? For example, you mention playing sound to the sub, so I wonder if the driver is regarding this output genuinely as a sub and not just another output (which is what you are trying to do). If the driver regards this output as a sub then maybe it only passes low frequencies. However, you do mention that test tones work, so I'm not sure. But it is probably a driver issue, not an SCS issue. One SCS option you could try is to go to General Options / Permanent Options / Audio Driver, and set the checkbox "Do NOT use floating point for audio channels". This is required for some sound cards to get good output.
