Hi Mike
Can you tell me if it is, or would be, possible to repeat a continous series of still images like in a Powerpoint when you can loop it?
I was wondering if you could tell a slide to start at the end of a later playing image - eg in the "Auto Start" of slide image 1 start 00.00 secs after end of slide image 8, so creating a loop. And of course you can stop the show with a "fade all playing cues" cue.
Possible or Not? or have I missed this when setting up.
Thanks
Peter
PS. Any news on fading of Video cues yet?

Re: Loop of Slide show
Should be possible by adding an auto-start 'GoTo' cue after the last image cue, but I've just tried this and there appears to be an issue that I'll need to look into. A 'GoTo' cue is currently implemented using a 'Note' cue - see the Help file for more info. The issue I found was that when the 'GoTo' cue had been run it was then marked as completed and was not re-activated the next time through the loop.Peter Jackson wrote:Can you tell me if it is, or would be, possible to repeat a continous series of still images like in a Powerpoint when you can loop it?

Nothing definite yet, but an alternative video playback DLL that I'm wanting to use appears to be very close to being stable, and when it is I'm planning to add this video playback option in SCS.Peter Jackson wrote:Any news on fading of Video cues yet?

Hi Mike
That works fine and I have found that if I put 2 consecutive cues with the same command prompt and both 'auto start' it will loop for ever until I put in a 'stop all playing cues' cue.
This might be something to put in the help section if you don't come up with an answer to changing its operation in the "Note File" cue.
This programme just keeps going from strengh to strengh

Re: Loop of Slide show
Hi Again
Following on from my last posting I have since discovered that a single SFR 'Fade out all Playing Cues' does not stop the looping, you again have to put in a second SFR cue doing a 'stop all playing cues' using an 'auto start' after the total fade out time of the SFR Fade out cue.

Peter,
Could you email me a cue file (.scs file) that has this second SFR cue so I can see more clearly what you find you need to do?
