problem with Edirol UA 101

Post by Phil Saunders » Wed Dec 02, 2009 4:05 am

Hi Mike
We are having a problem with a glitching noise (I'm calling it a digital raspberry noise!) either from our laptop (sony vaio) or from SCS 10. I seems to happen randomly. We are using eight outputs from the edirol, and the glitch sound appears at the same volume as the track we are playing. We have quite a lot of level changes and panning going on, but generally no more than two tracks playing at the same time. Is there anything you might think of that could solve our problem

Are you using the ASIO output or the (WDM) stereo pairs? If using ASIO, try changing to the stereo pairs. I then recommend you turn off the internal mixer as explained here.
