Midi Machine Control (mod in 10.6.2)

Is it possible to set up SCS to send midi machine control messages (eg [ F0 7F 00 06 01 F7 ] -- Stop / [ F0 7F 00 06 02 F7 ] -- Play / [ F0 7F 00 06 04 F7 ] -- FF / [ F0 7F 00 06 05 F7 ] -- REW / [ F0 7F 00 06 06 F7 ] -- Rec). I have worked out how to get F0 7F 00 02 etc. but not F0 7F 00 06 etc. Is there a way of typing in the SysEx message directly? I am trying to control an Alesis HD24 HD recorder which will be used to record a show.

Not at the moment. Free-format SysEx messages is on the list of things to do, and possibly MMC-specific SysEx messages as well, although I haven't looked into that yet.

In 10.6.2 you will be able to send Custom SysEx messages in Control Send cues. The 'MIDI Custom SysEx' message type will enable you to enter a free-format SysEx message. You can try this now in 10.6.2 RC2, available for download from the Members' Area.
