Xvideo shrinking on fade

Post by DaveGreen » Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:02 pm

Having a problem after a clean install of windows where fading a video cue in xvideo causes the image to halve in size and then fade out. Anyone know of a fix for this?

SCS 10.8.5 using xvideo on Win7

Yes, this is a known problem, Dave. There is a work-around which involves 'converting' the file. I say 'converting' in quotes because if you use the NCH Prism Video Converter Software you can 'convert' the format to the same format (eg AVI to AVI) and then find that xVideo plays and fades the file OK. If not, try converting to a different format. More information is in the SCS Help under Troubleshooting / Video Problems and look at the section headed xVideo.
