auto cues coming up as manual

I have compiled a rather complicated desk of music, FX and images. After the initial manual cue to start, all subsequent cues are on auto. Thus the 'next manual cue' message at the top of the screen shows a manual 'note' cue I put in at the end. However sometimes the program misses out one of the auto cues and the message comes up that this missed cue is the next MANUAL cue. Obviously if I immediately press 'go' at that point, the cue then plays with only a slight delay ...... but why is it defaulting to manual in the first place? The two cues which missed were one image and one 'pan' - not referring to each other.

Did you go into the Editor during a run in which an 'auto' cue appeared as 'manual'?

No, I don't think I did go into the editor. I was playing the entire sequence, start to finish.

Is this reproducible? If so then I'll send you info on a tracing version which will help me identify the cause.

Thanks Mike: I'll run the sequence again soon to see if it still happens. Bit squeezed for time, as we are in dress rehearsal for the UK premier of Neil Simon's 'Hotel Suite'.

I ran through the sequence again, with no errors. Clearly, not reproducible......thanks for your advice.
