VIDEO CUES still image
VIDEO CUES still image
Hi, I am using SCS with video cues for a theatre show and I need that when a video has played till the end the output does not come to dark but to keep the last image of the video. Is that possible? Thanks
Re: VIDEO CUES still image
Add an automatic SFR cue (+/- half a second before end of video cue) with the Pause and hibernate option marked

Ok, thanks, that partially works. It's only that after that I press go button and there is a blank frame before the start of the next cue. Any suggestion for this?
Re: VIDEO CUES still image
I assume you mean that the next cue is another video. The way SCS works, starting another video replaces the running one, but there does tend to be a short black/blank frame between the two. I have found that this can be reduced by limiting the number of video files to pre-open (General Options/Permanent Options) to 2.
If you have SCS 10.7.6 and use xVideo as the video driver (General Options/Permanent Options) you can use video fades. But I don't know if it possible to achieve cross-fades. In my particular computer set-up xVideo does not work properly, so I can't check. See "Video Problems" in the 10.7.6 help file.

No, cross-fading videos is not yet implemented. The xVideo DLL documentation claims to support this but I haven't yet managed to get the cross-fade to work without serious flickering.jmgordon wrote:But I don't know if it possible to achieve cross-fades.

THanks for your help, but it doesn't work. This is a problem. I feel SCS is not the right software for my needs. Do you know any good video cue software?
Re: VIDEO CUES still image
I found a solution! And I'm telling you as you may need somtimes. I put a Q with a still image and changed all the subsequent video Qs back into audio Qs so I have a the image still there while audio files changes. I guess I could do the same with a proper video just having a Q running while other audio Qs changing accordingly to my needs. Thanks for your help anyway.
