Count down to the end of a cue

I have recently updated my system twice and now run the latest version. I now no longer have the on screen countdown to the
end of the cue and cannot see how to re activate this ? can you help

Go to the SCS Editor, Production Properties, and then click on the Production Options tab. Select the countdown time you want from the drop-down list against 'Give Visual Warning'.

Is there an option to see that timer going forward, rather then it being a countdown?

Not that I know of.
A timer going forward would be the elapsed run time of a cue (which is shown in the cue window)
