track pauses during voiceover

I'm new to SCS, and have searched through the forum, but haven't as yet found an answer to my issue.

i'm on a touring show, and i recently swapped out to SCS from another program due to stability issues. SCS has proven much more reliable, however:
twice now (over about 15 shows) i have a particular track that has a voice over playing over the top. when i right click to execute the VO, the underlying track pauses for the briefest of moments, but its as obvious as hell. is this a problem frequently encountered? there was talk of someone that i could send my production file to? its about 1.2 gig, so i'd like to express post it (in the central coast today, moving toward VIC soon. so could probably get it there overnight) my producer is on my case to get it solved pronto.

Could you email me just the .scs file (NOT the 1.2 gig) and tell me which cue you have the problem with?

Could you also let me know what settings you have under General Options / Permanent Options / Audio Driver, and under the General tab what you have for Max. No. of Audio Files to Pre-Open?
