Show Cue System

Hi there,

I've found when I have lots of video files loaded in to one show, the whole interface slows down and often the video cues say not loaded for around 5 seconds before activating once triggered - especially if they are a part of a sub cue. Not really sure where it's going wrong! Clicking STOP often takes up to ten seconds too, which is quite scary when something goes wrong live! I've been exporting the videos as H264 MP4s from Premiere.

On shows with no or few videos, the system is faultless - so once I've figured this out, this will be the perfect system!

I'm currently looking into performance issues with video files. Sorry for the delay, but it's a complicated area and I'm relying on 3rd-party software, and no single product seems to provide a total solution.

I'm currently working on improving the performance of video file handling. Meanwhile, could you email me a diagnostic dump file so I can see details of your video cues and other related information? You can create this file by starting SCS and selecting 'Create Diagnostic Dump File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Dumps" under "Documents" or "My Documents".
