Confused Output Assignments

I seem to have developed a problem with the sound card assignments.
I suspect this may have happened before I changed the hardware option to "SCS computers have different hardware"
I also suspect that it was triggered when I copied a modified version of the SCS file back from my laptop to the PC.
My home PC no longer correctly identify the sound card outputs.
The configuration is;-
'Front' - Sound Card Front Stereo
'Mon' - Sound Card Left Rear Mono
'Stage' - Sound Card Right Rear Mono
'Rear' - PC Stereo
The home PC only shows the two stereo pairs on the VU display.
If I send sounds to either of the two mono channels they come out on the L or R Front (Sound card and VU)
The same file played on the laptop seems correct in all respects.
Possibly related (Although I don't see how) is that the sound card will now only work with the ASIO drivers.
Using the sound card drivers, (which used to be fine), now produces a clipped over-driven version of the sound file
I have tried creating a new show file from scratch, but it still seems to do the same.
Fortunately I can still run the show, but I need to sort this out.
Cheers
John
